Natural scenery of unique beauty has always been shrouded in mysticism, ideal place for legends over the centuries it lifts the collective imagination,  the "Sete Cidades" is unquestionably one of the most beautiful landscapes and desired of Azores.

Located in the northwest of the São Miguel Island i25km from Ponta Delgada city, the volcanic complex of the "Sete Cidades", high importance geological, ecological, hydrological and landscape local , is one of the most symbolic images of the nine islands and one of the most valuable features of Azores.

Lagoa do Fogo Natural Reserve

Lagoa do Fogo, classified since 1974 as a Natural Reserve, in its grandeur and dramatic beauty, with blue water that goes from dark to bright bordered here and there by white sand beaches and surrounded by margins covered with vegetation that can hide the effects of powerful volcanic forces that gave it life, is one of the most impressive landscapes of the Azores Archipelago.

Located in the center of the São MIguel Island the 575m high, with a maximum depth of 30m, the Lagoa do Fogo is surrounded by dense endemic vegetation and is the huge vulcanic crater.
